Prairie Winds is a block released as part of QUILTBLOCKMANIA for December 2022 for the theme of Barn Quilts.
Barn Quilts are a beautiful art piece all their own. I grew up on a farm in southern middle TN and eventually pursued an agricultural degree in college. When I look at a pinwheel block, I see a windmill. When I think of windmills, I think of rolling fields full of crops as far as the eye can see. That was the inspiration behind this block.
Prairie Winds is a PDF pattern (no physical item will be sent) for a 12” block.
It is written for the beginning quilter.
It contains detailed instructions with images for each step.
Duplications of pattern are prohibited. Projects made can be sold with credit given to Martha Jane Creations.
